crucial in almost every sector of the economy. Studies have shown that having a balanced
gender diverse teams will lead to more and better innovation and improved financial
performance.
A gender diverse workforce will also expand economic opportunities equally.
The Award seeks to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women technologists in the
Asia-Pacific region. The Top 50 women technologists selected will become the role models of
the young girls and women who aspire to good careers in tech. Nominate the inspiring women

Eligibility
Women of any nationality, residing in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Nominees can be self-nominated or nominated by colleagues, friends, business partners, etc.
The Asia Young Women Rising Tech Stars seeks to recognise exceptional young women technologists who are shaping the future of the industry and contributing to the advancement of society. They are trailblazers, at the forefront of cutting-edge research and development and driving innovation in emerging technologies.
25 recipients will be selected. The Judges will assess the nominations received and select the best candidates.

Between 23 and 35 years old

Working as a technologist, scientist or researcher, academics in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
Pursuing a full-time or part-time post-graduate degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity and related disciplines
Scientists, academics or technologists who are commercialising their inventions
Nominees can be self-nominated or nominated by colleagues, friends, business partners etc
Evaluation Process
Nominees would submit a detailed portfolio showcasing their achievements in these four areas
A panel of expert judges from diverse tech backgrounds would assess the nominations
