About the Award

The ASIA WOMEN TECH LEADERS AWARD seeks to recognise 50 accomplished women technologists working and based in Asia. This inaugural award is focussed on inspiring women who make the tech happen. They are deep into the research and development of emerging and nascent technologies and tasked with managing and operationalising tech projects.

Women who change the world for the better & to help diverse communities; committed to workplace diversity and balance, and advocated for women in tech.

Technical Experts

A technologist, scientist or researcher; academics in computer science, engineering or related disciplines; senior tech roles such as CIO, CTO and CISO.


Scientists, academics or technologists who are commercialising their inventions.


  • Women of any nationality, residing in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines,  Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Nominees can be self-nominated or nominated by colleagues, friends, business partners, etc.
